"Pass and Review": Congratulations!!! Job well done for the Salem and Dover Bandshows! Your time, talents and efforts paid off and we were able to include Jupiter in our show through practice, preparation, and collaboration at home and school. The show had just the right amount of "Sparkle, light, and cape pizzazz" to top off the music and marching that still makes Spaulding who we are! Thanks for carrying on the "tradition of excellence" that so many friends, family, and alumni have come to know and love. Kudos Class of 2012 and other student leaders!
Columbus Day Parade: We did a good job at the parade in Boston and left the crew and management at McDonald's and Ronald sitting to ponder how clean the dining room was after we left. We have another few parades coming up in the near future and may want and need to tighten things up a bit if we will continue to march and play them. "American Band" and "Soak Up the Sun" are two of these pieces and even "Final Countdown" and our cadences could use some fine tuning and tweaking to make them fabulous and admirable vs. their current state of "almost adequate". Please put a bit of time into these tunes or we will have to pull them from the upcoming.
